sugar wash with added wine...will it work.
I have 2 x 5 gallon of sugar washes that I want to make into gin with a strip run through my alembic pot still then a spirt run through my t500 column and finally another spirit run with botanicals through the pot still again....I have 2 gallon on homemade wine from a kit, can I add this to the wash?

You don't need a full boiler any more than you need a full kettle to make tea.
The column with a good reflux (slow output) should give you a neutral spirit for sure, but personally I'd keep stuff separate and do smaller runs if I was making for anyone other than myself. I couldn't taste the difference, but maybe you can.

Thanks mate, I only meant would the wine make any flavor difference to the final product if I added it to the wash.

After distillation,I would say no discernable flavour difference from the added wine...

Gin base is neutral. Reflux will make neutral.
No point NOT chucking it all in. I would.

T500 column is good for striping
flavour out if you run nice and
slow you will get good neutral.

I have many bottles of ghastly wine and if this kale wash ever finishes then I may just dump them in the last still run to top it up.

My very first (I've only done two) run was two gallons of uninteresting wine I'd made earlier this year! I'd made some red wine from Lidl grape juice that finished very acidic, so split it into two demi johns, one with 2 liters of apple juice, and the other with 2 liters of prune juice, and fermented them out. They were both not very nice, so just left them alone.
Meanwhile, I made my still, and true to form, didn't heed advice and put a mash on in time, so was looking round for something to distill, and thought of those two DJ's of wine, and ran them. It turned out absolutely gorgeous! If that is all I can ever make, I'll be happy! I pine for several gallons of that nectar!

Sometimes that is the way, you expect little and are well rewarded.
Sometimes you expect a lot due to expense or effort and are bitterly disappointed.
Sometimes it is chance.
