Beer machine boiler [Klarstein mash kettle]
Has anyone got one of these?
Strikes me a good buy for an all in one AG beer machine.... & if it was a half decent lid

Re: Beer machine boiler [Klarstein mash kettle]
My thoughts were. It seems to get good reviews.
Plenty of power. SO quick and ideal for a power controller?
Clamp on lid - room for expansion/mods.
They have a range of kettles from £99 to £450 - with various options.
There is also a 50l .. http://r.ebay.com/E6SDlJ .. £450 !!
Further there seems to be some crossover with the ACE mash kettle - which is a popular/sound bit of kit. For sure I wouldn't buy a NEW BM now.
If you knew someone who was having trouble with there old boiler and made a bit of whiskey - one of these might be worth raiding the piggy bank for........

Strangely, I know someone like that.
However he is now in possession of a fully functioning new 25 litre boiler of the same build which accepts his existing lid and columns.
Strangely, having tested that it works, he has put it back in the box and perseveres with the burnt out unit running at only 340 Watts.
Basically he is running a 25 litre Air still, without his old power controller.
Getting into the rhythm.
Less cleaning and messing than a 4 litre jobby
Sure it takes time, but for someone that can be onsite for most of the day, changing collection vessels every few hours is no chore.
Happy so far.
The Reflux column continues to dispense at 90%+
The man is obviously a Luddite.
