T500 Alembic or Column to rectify gin
Hi,
I would welcome some advice. I am looking to produce London dry gin from GNS, spring water and botanicals. Would the T500 column condenser or Alembic pot produce the best product? Thank you.

Use your pot still . The column will stripp
out to much flavour.
What method are you going to use?

Thank you gaza, that was my thought too. Am going to make a London dry, so botanicals in the mix with GNS and water.

There has been a bit of a chat about this.

Its quite a lot of money but I bet it will produce a good Gin,
The vapour trail has to pass through it taking all those
lovely flavours.
The only reason I have not bought one, I use my Airstill
to make Gin!!!

Are you buying in GNS antrees or making your own? I was wondering myself if there was any benefit of doing a botanical spirit run through a T500. Would it strip all the flavour out? As much as I like my gin from the Airstill, it's a slow old job

If I wanted patience, i'd have trained to be a doctor.
