Double distilling
Hi there just using my air still for the first time, using the double distilling instructions I found on this site....
The problem I've encountered is on the stripping run the 1350ml is coming out at 40 not 50%?
To get 4 spirit runs I will have to top it up to about 27% not 30 is this ok??
Any help great fully recived

Re: Double distilling
As Mash says, it very much depends on what kind of wash you've made. Even if you use the same yeast and the same amount of sugar every time you might still find slight differences.
Using Vodka Star yeast and 6kg of sugar I found my stripping runs averaged out around 44%.
