Of course,some may read this as a scam .

Joining online websites that cater to home distilling is also a risk as it may put you on (the) radar.

I am here for the sole reason of keeping new distillers safe, and helping if I can.

Let's hope normal service is soon resumed and such measures above made redundant.

So....
We are still (sic) in the same place,- not able to welcome new members because of a glitch with security, and the site owner being AWOL.
I am however heartened by the number of guests, not bots, that always seem to be present when I log on.
I can only assume that some are availing themselves to some of the great information to be found in the archives here.
Some may be here just to view the state of play.
Some of us old boys just chew the cud and talk bolleaux.
I hope we are able to do so for some time yet, and that the site returns to normality.
All I want for christmas........

Well it is now 2019....
The site is still up, and there were 15 visitors when I logged in, excluding bots. People are still coming here for information.

I am going to be honest with all here.
I joined this site only a few years ago and quite quickly became a moderator.
I have limited powers since the site owner went MIA/AWOL.
TBH, while acknowledging that I have not learned all that is to be learned, (new stuff happens all the time), this site has taught me all that I feel that I need.
There is so much information stored here.
Sorry newbies, don't ask for a quick fix, use the search-box top right.

Virtually all you need is there,.. a long way from me starting stilling and visiting the local library for information over 30 years ago.
I remain here to help where I can .
I hope to still be chatting here this time next year.
I also hope the site is back to what it once was, welcoming new members...
And I wish us all the 2019 that we deserve.
