Good Morning
Crawled out my bed at 0630Hrs this morning, got the washing m/c on, had my porridge and filled the still.
By 0800hrs the T500 was producing and I had a new wart in the container that I filled the still from.
Got some mushrooms and jerky sorted out and in the Dehydrator.
Bottled up
4 X Kentucky Bourbon
1 X Southern Comfort
2 X Citrus Vodka
1 X Laphroaig
1Lt X Jamisons
That’s what you call a good morning.

Good Morning
It is an excellent morning, wonderful result!
Mine was not quite so excellent - but still fun - and it lasted until the following morning - but I have managed to get a shade of 5 litres of 62.5% and a little under 3 litres of 38% (did a 50%>max cut which average at 62.5%, a 20%-50% cut which averaged 38% and the 5-20% cut was bunged in the top of the mash still clearing).
Alas with my little pot still (350w smartstill), it took me 22 hours and 6 batches. However I found that standing 4.5 litres of mash in a demijohn at 55C so the still didn't have to heat from scratch did save a LOT of time (hours).
Alas it took me almost "3 working days" to do what you did between snacks in the morning!!
I am looking at getting some of the essences and reading up where to get them for the right price. A few have mentioned that Prestige are good quality - but was trying to find who did the 50ml and 280ml bulk bottle sin the UK - and not getting far yet.
Which brand do you use for the essences Pyro?
I am keen on trying to "Mock" Remy Martin - as if it is anything like close, it will be a very firm favourite. I also like the idea of making a good absinth "from the ground up" as well as having a go with one of the "add to > 55% spirits and stir a bit" versions.
We don't have degydrators as such over here - or at least not advertised in the main shops / stores. Just googled them - useful bits of kit.
I am most envious of your productive morning

Good Morning
Like your self I live in the UK, but with the power of the internet I don’t have to much bother getting supplies. For hard to get kit like my dehydrator I use Ebay, its amazing what you can get on there.
Like your self I started out with the airstill, great fun. It’s easy to run, gives good quality spirit, a bit time consuming but well worth it.
I have tried most types of essence and have no firm favourites. I am experimenting with Stillspirits Whisky Profile kit at the moment, don’t know if my product tastes the same as the original, but sure is smooth. I see that still spirits has a lemoncello, but not yet in the UK, my good lady is nipping my brain for some.
For bulk essence try http://allfreightfree.com/en/essences-bulk-25/
They are in Sweden but post to the UK. I think others on this list use them.
Next week I will have the Airstill out again, I have 10Ltrs of ruff cider from my own trees that I am going to run, see what comes out.
Got back home/office at 7am, switched still on and made up another wart, a nice start to the day.

Good Morning
Thanks for the link and the comments about different flavourings.
Interesting that you still use the airstill even with T500. Mind you, I guess if you want some of the flavour to come through, the airstill will provide that more than the reflux.
Have fun
