cheapest airstill uk?

Hi,

Does anyone know the best place to get the airstill in the UK. Wineworks want £153 or £189 with the starter kit, which seems less than ebay.

Hi Cascas

What I can tell you is that the service from Wineworks is fantastic. I nearly bought my air still from them but ended up finding one on eBay that had been bought from wineworks 6 months earlier
. Had to travel from the north west to Chepstow on a Sunday morning but well worth it :)

You won't go wrong if you speak to Richard at Wineworks, can't guarantee that he's the cheapest but you'll certainly get looked after and if you have any problems he's very helpful. Top bloke!

You could also give Sam a call at Creative Winemaking, they're offering the Airstill at £149. Here's a link, http://www.creativewinemaking.co.uk/stills/cat_174.html

I bought mine from Wineworks. Quick free delivery and no problems. Bear in mind that the £153 still comes with yeast, carbon and clearing, 3 classic sachets, a pack of carbon filters, a spirit hydrometer and a bottle of distillers conditioner. All in all it's a very good deal even if you don't need some of these items.

Very happy with the service at wineworks. One thing to bear in mind with the air still kit is that the siphon that comes with it is neither use or ornament. Get the auto siphon if you can :)

My Tuppenceworth ;D

With an Airstill, you can make spirits costing you less than £3 per bottle.

With a properly processed 25lt wash you can realise 6lt @ 40% (that's 8+ standard bottles) - from one wash ;D

Bottom line! You save so much money on the spirits you make, what's the point of chasing around trying to save a few pounds on the basic equipment!! :D

Just get one going and join in ;D ;D ;D
