ABV

Tried 1st SS classic wash with 8 kg gone well started at 1150 ish and down to 980 in a week
Managed to clear an old sauna room that was nothing but a junk store with knackered heater
Invested 20 quid in a 450 watt oil filled radiator and keeping a steady 24 degrees
Looking on the net at ABV calculators what is the difference between ABV and alcohol by weight ?

I believe it's an old way of measuring the alcohol content, I have only seen it on imported booze from the states, most of the civilised world use ABV along with metric, Celsius, and football where you use your foot. :D

To get the ABV from the ABW just multiply it by 1-1/4 (1.25), to do the opposite (ABV to ABW) you multiply it by 0.8 (1/1.25).
