Nice. 3kw will get there. Might be more gentle which isn't a bad thing.
My immersion tank has a 3KW element and it is 200 odd litres
Perhaps think about a nice foamy jacket for it.

Must say even though I've acquired 2 kegs now I'm tempted. The cleaning through the removable lid particularly appeals
What's the crack with the element arrangements?

The lid is great Admiral, no problem at all getting your arm in to clean. Fitting the element will be simples....I bought the Guard kit....just use a 2" Triclamp.
Did you sort the SS scrubbers you were after??

The boiler is 50 liters RM...so now I'll do 2x25 wash's, bang them straight in.
I'm waiting on 2x23 liter lentil wash's at the moment, their a week old now just waiting for them to clear. I was going to do a double run with the T500 but I think I'll wait for the box of bits that I ordered yesterday from SDe and pop my cherry on the new kit.
The cost of the boiler and a couple of bits of kit came to just under 400 euros.

Re: New Shiny......it's here.
Got a problem...
the element boss is 1" BSP...phoned Screwfix they don't do any..been on line for a couple of hours, phoned 3 suppliers all to no avail. One place said they can build a custom one but it's the cost. >:(
It seems that you have to use a element for a stainless boiler, the ones at Screwfix states copper tanks only.
I've found this one Here
It's in Beijing but you are covered by Amazon...unless I can come up with one in the UK I'll have to give this one a punt...
