Rashig Rings

Postby Still Brewing » Tue Sep 08, 2015 12:50 pm

My supply of ceramic rings which were originally supplied with my Airstill seem to be dwindling with time. More than like loose a few in the sink or something similar.

I have a few bits of copper pipe but somebody, somewhere told me to use 1p pieces as long as they were not magnetic. I have sorted out a handful and have bent them 90 degrees in my vice, following on with a soak in citric acid and water to clean up.

How many of these should I be using in an Airstill when its in use.

Cheers

A small fistful should be fine.
