Probably one of the reasons I run the AS so hard is to reduce my bar bill, her indoors goes through a DJ a week. Keeps her away from the good stuff.

Re: What I Did Today
Just bottled 3 bottles of Plum brandy & 1 of Blueberry Vodka and put them into storage. Put another 2Ltrs of Plum brandy into the dark cupboard for a wee sleep.
Also got the Essencia filter running with a refilled lower filter started, it is running very slow. It is going to take at least a day to fill a DJ, it better be worth it.

It can be a bugger when you refill and maybe get an airlock.
Sometimes they work themselves through, sometimes you have to go back to immersion in a jug of water.

It's part of the fun, getting something for nothing or beating the system, but this efin filter is starting to get my goat.

Re: What I Did Today
That was one (but not only) reason I decided to find neutral that didn't need filtering. Proper pain in the arse.

Re: What I Did Today
Got up early doors today and had a productive morning. I have made some amaretto and some plum and vanilla gin liqueur and raspberry liqueur. Plum and raspberry liqueurs have put in dark cupboard for few months and will be shaken everyday. All these drinks are to keep her indoors happy. Now to go for a fry up and then pub for some darts before playing football in the afternoon,

Re: What I Did Today
I fed hay to horses that are standing in two inches of snow, several times.
I pottered about a bit.
Had supper with friends.
Tried my orange infusion triple sec wannabe, not bad at all.
It was a day.
Just not one that seemed full.
There is always tomorrow
