One of the easiest and basic is 3 kg raw sugar, 3l mollasses, 90g bakers yeast. just chuck the sugar and mollasses into around 4l boiling water or 8l hot tap water, stir the he'll out of it till it's all desolved, add water to 25l, get it around 30c then pitch the yeast and stir in. Can't go wrong, it's the most simple.recpie!!. You can tweek it to how you want it after you've done a few. Less mollasses for less sweetness, some.white sugar instead of raw for lighter taste ect ect . alot of people use a teaspoon of citric acid to, I don't bother any more, can't tell the difference.

that's great cheers for that I really like rum over whiskey n vodka n its seems a hell of a lot easier to make and tastes great what type of stuff have you done after you've made yours? I wouldn't mind trying to make a spiced rum cant get enough of that stuff

After distilling don't throw the dunder(backset) out. Keep it and use for the next generation of rum. The flavour will increase on your next distill.
