more and more these days most people are more privy to just having a 55 gallon fermentation vessel other then having 10, 5 gallon buckets taking up half their still area.. i would like to hear some ideas about what most people are using for that scale of fermenting!

That would be quite the workout for an AirStill.

55 gallons of wash is a big undertaking,

What size still do you have? Even with a 10 gallon still you are looking at 6 or 7 strips which means that you are going to have a 55 gallon fermenter partially occupied for quite a long time. Each time you take off one strips worth you are increasing the risk of an infection.

I work on 5 gallon of wash costing around £6.00 or £7.00 if it goes wrong then it is not a big deal, but losing a wash costing £70.00 would be a different matter.

I think I will stick with my one and only 5 gallon bucket.
