What a nice welcome.. my aspirations are up in the clouds as it would be nice to have a home brewed single malt whiskey akin to a 15yrold Dalwhiney (if i spelt it correctly) I am very fussy when it comes to spirits Ukrainian Vodka and single malts i will drink neat. and other than absinthe n Ibicencan hierbas im not much of a fan of anything else..

but as i can brew a beer as good as any commercial pint :)
Perhaps there is some hope..

I am running a t500 but have built a tall modular boka head and condensor to chase a-zero, and have a pot head, thumper or doubler in the pipeline and am wondering about how to include a herb basket..

I wish I lived closer, I'd invite myself over for a pint! ;D With beer brewing skills and a pot head, a great single malt should be well within your reach. There are some great starting points in the recipes section. One advantage that we have is that we age in smaller containers (er, unless you have really BIG aspirations!) which accelerates the results.
