The one you’ve ordered looks to me like it will only measure alcohol in spirit.....in other words it won’t work on a wash

Thanks H

I've already distilled the wash now so does that not make it a spirit?

You are correct WVM.
You now have a spirit.

Quick question: if I have spirit oaked with chips, or infused with anything else, without added sugar. Would this somehow affect spritometre or reflectometre reading?

My best guess answer is that it might.
But not by much, if by any discernible amount.
With no added sugar, it should be pretty close.
But that is my opinion, not experience, :)

Defo yes.
Definitely with a spirit hydrometer, less so with a refractometer.
