best percentage
Hi all, before any of you say to taste...... What is the average percentage of alcohol that you drink. I know it is recommended to not go above 40%, but what do you drink it at?? I have a friend that dilutes down to 25% not sure that I want to do it that far down if it is not worth it IYKWIM

Depends on the drink for me.
Vodka, Spiced Rum 38%
Rum, Bourbon,Scotch etc 40%
Gin 42% to stop louching.
Shots and silly drinks 30%
Learnt my lesson a while back made some limoncello @ 40%
took it to a party almost frozen as it should be, noone
could taste how strong it was. Neatly paralyzed the
whole party in 30 mins flat.

I dilute AG whisky to 46%
Filtered neutral, AKA 'Wodka' is similar.
Gin I do at 40%.
Any other "Classic" spirit has been made using a bought in essence and is somewhere inbetween.
Apple pie or other fruit flavored tipples are usually around 25%.
All of the above percentages are + or - a percentage point or two.
