Aidanmac's Missing Posts
All posts under the name aidanmac have been deleted but if anyone has any copies of any of my posts I'd be grateful if you would send me them as I'm going to try to reconstruct the more useful ones anyway - long shot

Re: Aidanmac's Missing Posts
Aidan,
I think we will be able to get back most of your posts - give me till tomorrow night, in the meantime I will try and e-mail you half a dozen I have found so far.
[Added this bit]
The Forums e-mail system is a bit basic and did not work - I did manage to send you a PM with links to the samples, please have a look at your PM's

Re: Aidanmac's Missing Posts
Aidan,
If you check your PM's then all the other posts that I have tracked down should now be there.
If there is anything that you think is missing if you coulld let me know and I will look a bit deeper into the cyberspace.
This excercise has really demonstrated the fact that pressing the delete key does not work - anything that is put on the web is there forever.

Yeah, incidentally I've changed the backup strategy for the site too so this kind of thing is no longer possible. My own fault for being too trusting!

We've all been caught, at some time or other, trusting somebody who turned out to be a complete twat and a plonker, a big girl's blouse and a half wit!
So you're not alone there Jimmy.
This shouldn't stop any of us trusting others as long as we learn to take precautions just in case the unmentionable happens.
This is a brilliant forum and something like what happened here is not going to change that.
