Farewell, Old friend

Postby Frank » Sat Nov 14, 2015 1:11 am

Well, I finally decided to sell my Air Still, it having sat unused for too long.
Got a good price and all that, though I must say its a bit like letting go of an old friendship..... :'(
Ahhhh, the things I learnt to do/make (and not do/make) using that still are indeed numerous BUT most of all, it introduced me to this wonderful hobby......

I hope it serves its new owner well and often......

I agree with your sentiment here.
However, pressing my little Smart still into action every once in a while to make gin does keep the old thing gainfully employed.
And for me it is the right tool for the job.

I am sure it is proud to have gotten you started on the path to where you are now. :D Maybe its work is not done yet. Or maybe it will just pump out decent gin. Speaking of which, I am thirsty.

Or Frank, at the very least wearing black armbands.

Maybe such jocularity is out of step tonight, but I will show my solidarity with my French cousins by continuing to live my life as before, with a very respectful nod to those whose lives were so recently stolen.

There is either not much more to say,or VERY much more to say.
This is not the platform.

I am deeply saddened.
