Well, I know it hasn't really quite started yet, but as I got to work for about 0730 and was expecting to be finished about 1830 or so, to find myself trundling along the road towards home at 1330 was a nice surprise.

Plus, as the next memorable occasion is due to be a RTW on the 3rd of Jan, I've started my "liquid crimbo" already :D 8)

So seasons greetings, one and all

Hope everyone has a nice time over the next few days with the ones you love.

@Phantom, that's a result mate, I had the opposite, went in expecting to get away early, and was kept in till the death.

@ Short2 - My old boy is a cannuk, the do have some right shite whiskey, hope it was a gift and you didn't shell out for it - btw a QI fact, Canadian rye doesn't have to contain any rye - its a traditional way of labeling all sorts of whisky and there is no legal requirement of contents.

Hi Cap. You are right it is shite whiskey. It was a gift so did not shell out for it. I did not know how lacks they were in their laws on the standards and contents of their brew. The stuff smells like my still just as it needs a clean out. How they get away with selling that I do not know.
