Thanks for that Mash.

I think I'm inclined to chalk it up to experience. In old age I have less energy and inclination to pursue confrontational matters.

I recently ordered an ice maker which was to cheap
for belief from E Bay, it was and through paypal
was refunded. Does this mean they cannot be trusted
any more!!!
After all good business is built on trust. :o

There are bargains to be had.
Personally I look every gift horse in the mouth and count it's teeth.
I am just a cynical and untrusting old bugger. ;D

I don't see it as 'too cheap', rather the reverse.

Given that Morrisons were charging 44p a kg six months ago, I saw what I thought was 49p a kg ( a reasonable 10/11% increase) as a realistic offer.

The unbelievable part was the actual price of £1.98 a kg!

There's no fool like an old fool.

You are no fool. "Old" is upto you :D :D

I have had an answer to my email, and the seller called me.

Interestingly the advert has changed this morning. Read into that what you will.
I have a screen-shot of the original.

He maintains this is a problem with 'GOOGLE' displaying the page wrong I don't get that at all.
I saw it on ebay with my own eyes [and suspected it might change - hence the screenshot]

He will do nothing, maintaining it is not his fault.

Google does NOT change eBay listings

Tate and Lyle Granulated Sugar 20kg Catering 4 x 5kg bags

into........

Tate and Lyle Granulated Pure Cane Sugar 5kg - High Quality Royal Large Bag

The only conclusion I can draw is BEWARE of the seller. Alma_trade_ltd

If we had a black-list of dubious traders I would definitely vote for the inclusion of this outfit.

I've been back to B&M a few times and found an empty shelf each time, still marked up as 50p, I guess some folk are making jam or wine and stocking up, or... there is another stiller in my hood.

For any who might care to use a refractometer to calculate sugar content, they don't come much cheaper than this.
