That's a smashing idea, especially for making your own starters☺ but it doesn't work like that. The crabtree effect is triggered by the sugar level. You will get co2 and alcohol. latest thinking is you cannot over o2 wort. I was wondering if you would make it faster or cleaner. The continuous air might blow off some of the phenols particularly in an open vessel? More thinking required:D
