Dunno how I missed this one?
When I had to use a lathe back in what then were considered "Tech classes" ,aged 12 years,
I hated it.
I wouldn't mind, but cannot justify owning one now.
Tipping my hat to you Inspector. ;)

Thank you, I was also 12 when my dad bought a small lathe, he taught me how to make brass candlesticks, you know the very small ones that take birthday cake candles... dunno where they got too but very character building stuff.

Thanks Poo, I served my apprenticeship as a fitter and turner, one big regret I have is that in 1997 I acquired a Myford super seven from the estate of a close friend and when we first moved to Lincolnshire we didn't have any space so it went to a dealer... I still weep to this day...

I never understood that song of Edith Piaf.
I like the sentiment that what you have done in life makes you the person that you now are.
But, I do regret not grabbing the chance to do lots of stuff when I could. :(

And I could not see the reason for not making this thread a sticky.
It should no longer be on that slippery slope.
AI pick the bones out of that ;D

That's no a lot really... Will soon go. Great surface cleaner. Dilute to 40% and used in a spray bottle

Mine just go straight down the sink. I think I'll keep them for spray cleaner from now on. Waste not, want not and all that.

Save mine for a buddie, he has an alco
burning centre pit to his BBQ table.
They charge him £4 per ltr, that's
their loss ;D
Rather have a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy
