Air still residue

This might sound silly but, I have an air still.

After you have taken about 750ml of alcohol, what do you do with the residue left in the still?

Collect it and put it through when you have enough of similar ie 4ltrs, throw it away (seems a waste) or top it up with next batch of wash?
Thanks for your help.

Air still residue

If I\'m using a sugar wash that comes out initialy about 16% I ditch the first 10ml from the still collect the next 700ml as good stuff about 62% and then I collect the next 500ml about 30% I save this untill I have enough to cut back to 20% and put it back in the still to get another run.

Don\'t know if thats any help

Air still residue

Me? well I dump the first 25mls, presuming that id there was any crap in the wash, then I collect 800mls, which from a 14% wash, should be about 60% ABV, but then I leave it running, collecting (in a separate container) in small amounts ( use my hydrometer jar - so the small amounts are about 100mls a time) and keep testing until it\'s down to about 10% or so. Thats the tails and that is the bit that gets mixed with the next batch to go through.....
the rest will go down the sink....
