Allinson's

Postby Easydrinker » Thu Aug 04, 2016 11:32 pm

Visited my local Tesco yesterday, and they had moved yeast and only had space for the green tins of quick bake or whatever it is called.
The Yellow regular tins still appears to be online, but were not instore.
Anyone else noticed or care?
I may need to find a new supplier?

Robert.

I have...the other week when I needed some....I had to buy what they had. I'm thinking of buying a large tin of bakers yeast off Amazon....not a bad price.

I found the same in Sainsbury's. Only the green tins available and at £1 a tin.

Just checked Allinson's website and they're only showing the green tins:

Edit: Oops, no they're not! I failed to click on the arrow thing! Yellow tins still in their product line up.

Looks like Morrison's still stock the yellow at 64p a tin.

Fermipan is very good. Wholesalers, cash and carry and bakers supplies carry it.
I pay 1.85 no vat for 500 grams
