T500 Lid Seal?

Hi

Just had a T500 delivered as an upgrade to my Airstill.

Just wondered if any T500 owners could tell me if there is supposed to be a seal in the SS lid that comes with the boiler.

There is no seal in the recess but I have seen replacement seals advertised on websites but just wondered if the design has changed before I contact the supplier.

Mine came with all seals. One is on the lid, and second is where you connect lid to reflux. Sounds that someone forgot about it during assembling or I don't know

I think domasj is correct.
I would expect a seal.
You could fabricate your own, but one should be supplied with a new still.
I think contacting the supplier is definitley called for.

I got the setup with Copper Condenser column from thebrewshop.com.

It is £399 plus an extra 5% off at checkout working out at £379. I looked all over and this was the cheapest place I could find and great service too.

Took 2 days for delivery
