My big relief

Postby Opus 27 » Thu Oct 02, 2014 3:55 pm

On another post (whiskyfest) I posted an update on the event. What I didn't post was that I somehow left a £98.00 bottle of Bourbon on the counter.

The organisers (Nichols & Perks) however posted it onto me carriage free, what a relief.

I bought that Four Roses for my 50th birthday this year. It is excellent! It was only around $60 Canadian, IIRC. I thought our taxes were outrageous!

I am not sure what year it is. It says FourRoses Single Barrel, Warehouse DN, Barrel No 1-6L. :-) This one: http://www.bcliquorstores.com/product/653055 Google suggests that what you got is http://www.fourrosesbourbon.com/2013-fo ... d-edition/

Now I am jealous! The bourbon selection is pretty limited here. I may have to make the hour drive south of the border.
