Winter polytunnel crops
The summer season is over and I wondered if anyone had any ideas for winter crops.

What about some Kale

Rather have a full bottle in front of me

Re: Winter polytunnel crops
This year it looks like I have few.
Several hundred carrots being nursed.
A couple of Courgette plants refusing to die and producing well.
Some late planted Beetroot and Khol Rabi still going strong.
Other than that just some self seeded Garlic looking good, and almost time to plant the saved cloves for next years crop
Really, where I am, January will seriously mess with the PT, the ground can freeze for days, and snow threaten to rip the Polythene from the frame.
You may have a better choice of crops where you live in the soft South
Robert.

There is no ONE way.

Re: Winter polytunnel crops
The wind around here destroys then. The slightest hole and it gets away.
We had a wild crop of mixed Mediterranean salad last year in February. That's what got me thinking.
My wild seeded garlic is in deep pots at the moment can't decide if to plant in the poly or outside.
Elephant garlic ready to replant. Hoping it will crop this year.

Poking a hole in my memory there....
It may have been Lambs Lettuce that took off here many winters ago...?
