2nd 3thrd distilation

When doing your 2nd 3thrd distillation do you throw the first bit away as you did the first distillation or would it be less or none at all. I assume you would toss a bit but not a much as the first time.

I don't. Once you've run it once, the methanol element is removed, so you shouldn't need to dump any more for that reason.

You'd just make sure that before running the stripped low wine, that they're definitely below 40% ABV.......

It's a safety thing.......

Just do the normal cuts or however you normally do the runs......

I make no cuts on the first run, just collect everything. Fores, heads and tails are cut on the second run. If I do a third run, which is rare, I will make another small heads and tails cut to cleanup / verify.
