Yes, I use wild cumin seeds. I grind em a bit, the flavour does come through very gently on the nose and mouth. Comments from my testing has been very positive. Most say that it has that gentle warm curry hit as it passes
I like it, but it's all to taste.

Re: Cumin in gin
Proceed with extreme caution! I tried cumin in gin a while back, and wound up with a drink that tasted like liquid curry. Not a problem, some might say, but honestly, it was vile. Took ages to get rid of the aroma from the still, as well.

Re: Cumin in gin
You don't need much Cumin or Angelica. I use a gram per litre in the Air Still/Sputnik. Gin has to have the predominance of Juniper, 40% of the total botanicals in my case. Get the balance right and it makes a cracking spirit.

That's the beauty of the Airstill I find. It enables you to experiment without losing all your neutral if things go awry.

I just have to agree.
Unless you are 100% sure and making in huge quantities, probably more than most folk can consume.
If an Airstill doesn't keep you and yours in Gin.....
