Red or White grapes to make Brandy?
Hi Guys
I want to make a brandy to fortify some red wine in order to eventually make some port, does anyone know what type of grapes to use, red or white for a start but if anyone can be more specific as to the exact strain it would be very helpful.
This is going to be expensive, a good quality 25lt red wine kit is £50 but I can get some cheap grape concentrates to also make 25lt for £20-£25, I want to choose the correct cheap one to distil in order to fortify the expensive red.
Any ideas?
