Now that should work a treat, if you can find a stainless keg to bolt it too.
Depends on how efficient the condenser is, but it should be able to do 90% plus quite easily

Why would you want to recover methenol ?

Its a super fuel used by speedway and grass track bikes in particular,it smells lovely when it is burnt and is so pure it burns with an invisible flame,hence you have to be very carefull safety wise using methanol,I think its also added to fuel in a small ammount that is made with used cooking oil.

True - but I have read that to make methanol in any quantity is quite hard, lets face it we only get 50ml in a 5 gallon wash. I have read that you need to distill fermented wood pulp to get any. Unless the idea is to make meths stonger - someone help me out with this ?

Its expensive to buy i think the cheapest at the moment is £17.50 for 5 litres,so it must be difficult to make,so that goes to prove just how little we are ever likely to make by using our gear and sugar washes.
