Ok Seagull no problem.
This dark wheat was a good price. The wheat
malt extract(liquid) that I used to make my
last vodka very expensive. The result was
really good,liked by everyone who tried it.
Don't like using the carbon stuff .
So trying other ways

Can I ask where is best to buy Vitamin B12? Ive found supplement tablets online but they include colouring and cherry flavour. Im guessing these are not what I need?

The bay can supply everything.
Try searching for Ethanol.
It is pretty cheap.

Had a WWW on for the last 7 days. Bubbling away nicely at 29 degs (i run it twice). Been at 1.00 on the hydrometer for the last day or so but still bubbling away. Still fermenting? or just gas?

I've just done 2 x 40 litre washes using Allinsons and half a box of Aldi's finest Branflakes in each, they're made from wheat, (I think!)

I would say no!
I do not know the still that you intend to use.
If it is a reflux still, then maybe try it.Once.
However, I believe that you will achieve a better result from doing as most of us do.
Strip run and then Spirit run.
Sure, the big "neutral" spirit makers run once, through a gazillion plates, but that product will probably make your head hurt.
Try it the way that we promote here.
That will probably not cause too much discomfort.

Why don't you try freezing it first. Surprisingly easy (if you have room)

Many thanks. I have always run my turbo's twice. Twice it is. I have the little Air still.

EDIT: Freezing it? Why should I freeze it?

Check out freeze jacking/stripping.
Mash has some posts on here about it.
If you have an airstill, it can save all the strip runs, and much time if you have the freezer space.

old post i know but ,can you be more specific on the powder type there are lots all seem different strengths ect most are in tablet form.and prices seem to vary wildly.
would a couple of these crushed into the wash suffice do you think.

The b vitamins range is complicated and a lot of articles contradict each other.
The specifics you want are Biotin, Pantothenic acid & Thiamine.

Biotin - Increased cell viability
Pantothenic acid - Reduces sulphide production and volatile acidity. Think PH swing.
Thiamine - Increases cell replication and mass. So increases fermentation speed and is rapidly absorbed at the start of ferment.

Vitamin b complex tablets may have all three.

I have gone onto using a little Olive oil in 25l and a glug in 350 litres.
When I use olive oil there is never any residue or trace. Something has used it.
