Shocked by sugar prices AGAIN!

[Akear1970]

Well bookers ain't no good for cheap sugar not tried makro yet but no doubt it won't be any cheaper than bookers. The cheapest I have found is asda in a 5kg bag worked out at 72p a KG.

[Capt-Cudellez]

Morrisons doing 1kg bags of whitworths unrefined sugar for £1 (normally £1.50) - good sugar if making a whisky type wash for pot stilling.

To reiterate (and if you have an account/friend who has an account/one near you), Costco do 15 1kg bags of Tate & Lyle for £10.89, equating to 72p a bag.

Just a heads up.
