t500 hosepipe mod

Postby i dont drink » Mon Oct 17, 2011 4:18 pm

hi all..

i did this mod to my t500 water control thingy and it works a treat!..

all i did was solder a piece of standard 15mm copper pipe to the supplied adaptor(that fits hardly anything) and viola!...

all i do now is to push the hosepipe onto the end and turn the water on but not too fast or it will blow off!.... i have found that i can control the water perfectly by turning the
t500 water adjuster on to its fullest setting and then turning the hose tap down to a decent trickle but too fast for the t500's recomended 400 ish ml per min, and then adjusting the adjuster until i reach the desired water flow and temp on the t500..

A not-quite-as-pretty little brother version of i can't drink's hose mod.

A glass of scotch, a glue gun, a reel of hose and 5 minutes gave me this result. It's watertight; let's hope it lasts!
