Home made anecdotes
Some people say there are no stupid questions. But when I explained the principles behind ethanol distillation and concentrated flavourings/bases to my brother, he went out and bought the smallest bottle of JD he could find, and the largest bottle of vodka.
He then proceeded to mix the two at a party in front of friends explaining how he had found some magical short cut in life where he could just add vodka to Jack Daniels exponentially increasing the yield in whiskey without the expense of buying the real McCoy.
Of course on tasting the drink he and his friends sipped a very diluted tinted product which neither tastes like JD or Vodka.
I try and bring this up as many times as possible, and laugh openly into his face.
Anyone else have a stupid brother?
