different washes

Postby eattheliving » Sun Feb 26, 2012 7:15 pm

Hi All, newbie to all this stilling buisiness....but must say I'm certainly enjoying myself.

Anyway just need a bit of help please. i'm quite partial to the old Bourbon and was wondering if there is a better wash to use in my airstill than the old water and sugar mix?

thanks

If you want to speed up the aging, you can freeze the jar one day then leave on a warm windowsill or similar the next day to defrost, repeat until sober and then drink it. Careful with freezing glass etc but apparently it speeds up the process. Or you can be patient... if you can manage it! :)
