Can I ask how high this bench seat is going to be?

I'm on holls at the moment so can't get to measure any of my buckets/drums, which I would think are around 2'6"....but those your after are 30 liters, how tall are they???.
At 2'6" will this be tall enough??....just a thought.

I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Re: Fermentation Chest
Well not done all measures yet Icefever.
may have to be a couple inches higher.
Main aim even if bench is a little
high is not to waste space in the man cave.
Anyway if legs are dangling a bit, when they
fall off due to alcoholic overdose we can
mark them out of 10 like the divers in the
olympics

Re: Fermentation Chest
30 inches looks tall enough for your buckets, but my concern was for sitting comfort.
I'm not the tallest chap in the world, but a 30" high seat has my feet dangling 8" off the floor, and is not comfortable...
Maybe you will be able to incorporate some sort of foot rest, as tall bar stools do?
Anyway, best of luck with the build.
Robert.

Re: Fermentation Chest
Hey, I often unintentionally fall asleep while the still is running, so that is not such a bad idea, health and safety put on hold here....
Unless you were alluding to the provision of a sleeping facility in the man cave for the-surely-never-to-happen time that you dare not enter your usual bedroom?
Robert.

I need to know how that works 'cos on the face of it - it doesn't.
I for a while wanted a transport unit for a similar sort of idea... But they are soooooo expensive.

Re: Fermentation Chest
To be honest it looks like a double heatsink. You have a small fan for air circulation inside whatever you put it into and a bigger fan on the outside part of the heatsink.

Was going to link two of them in a chest
lined with celotex insulation, heat mats
for each bucket linked to one of those
ink bird controllers.
