berry liqueur s

Postby googe » Tue Mar 12, 2013 11:13 pm

Hello all, have done some berry liqueurs in the past that have been very yummy, thought I'd share.

2 cups whole raspberries 1 1/2 cups of sugar syrup 2 tsp vanilla essence 3 cups 40% neutral

steep for 2 weeks, filter, add the syrup and essence. Best left for at least a week, a month or 2 is great!.

did a raspberry, blackberry and boysenberry one too, was amazing!!.

Yeah, raspberry is a good one. You can really balance the tartness with the sugar you add to suit your tastes.

Very true about the sugar capt. I like the mixed berry one the most, like cordial!! Lol splash of Lennon gets rid of the tartness too.
