Totally agree with you AM.
When I first thought about making alcohol, I read everything I could and realized that based on all the good information available, I would not be able to make alcohol here because it is too hot, too contaminated, too something. I could not easily get my hands on all the bits I was supposed to need. Various add ons to a wash were not available. And so I held off.
But the demand for good alcohol continued. More and more foreigners were coming to Sanya. Then one day it clicked. 300 years ago, those that were making rum in world did not have all the fancy equipment and geegaws that I was supposed to need. So I charged on regardless.
The end result speaks for itself.
