Turbo Carbon

Advice for a newbie please.I have been using still sprits range of turbos, mixing turbo carbon into the wash at the start of fermentation. I have had good results. Unable to get to my usual HB shop, I have purchased Alcotec 48, never used it before and there is no mention of using a turbo or liquid suspended carbon on the pack. If I just prep this and ferment without turbo carbon, is it going to cause a problem? Is there anything else I need to be doing apart from normal carbon filtration during and after distilling? Hi Mark, I stopped using carbon in my washes as i found there was no difference in the quality of my wash, if i use a turbo i run my finished spirit through a home made filter full of carbon granules,( basicly a stainless steel tube filled with carbon granules)

It wont be a problem if you dont use it.Try it without and see what its like,make your decision then.everyone has there own peferences.

IMHO use Vodka Star (fast) or the bakers yeast wash(slow and less convenient but cheap). Brilliant results
