Just lost another new member, four posts, all recommending the same Oak aging sticks that he seems to have for sale.
There are ways , and there are ways.

I'll offer an opinion if I may.

Spammers are invariably pushing a site which pays them to do so.

The position of someone offering his own service is a bit more ambiguous, I think.

What might sway it is whether he's bothered to read the site and offer his product on relevant threads rather than just piling in with an unattached offer.

I'm absolutely not going head to head with you here, I'm just saying how I've evolved to think about this problem.

Spammers, at least the ones not filling your site with Gobbeldy Gook, in my world live on the same level as telephone sales.
I politely tell them to go away, when I can.
I accept that some people try anything to make a living.
I also realise that some people are nothing better than nothing.
