I was having a dig around Youtube and came across this guy using a Braumeister to mash and make whiskey.

Part one

Part two

You may already have seen the vids, I don't do whiskey but I may have ago now, and I thought he did a good job, camera work was ok and how he set about it all.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

He's the guy from the Modern Distiller forum/website, Australia. Has a commercial distillery operation going. Comes up with some interesting stuff.

Whole Modern Distiller site comes from an easier angle then Aussie Distiller which pushes a pretty heavy commercial interest flogging their hardware and has too many ratbag moderators who know jack$hit and aren't backward at sharing that fact. ???

I would not object to being called a ratbag moderator that knew jackshit,I have had worse!
I am seriously tempted to make it a signature!

I am sorry that our own sweet site is so quiet that users have time to waste visiting others and discover such disharmony.

Maybe mom's home cooking wont seem so bad after all?

LOL

I did find the videos interesting...you can see from all the gear that the guys got that he did come across very well...very well done. As for being quiet at the moment it does happen from time to time, that's why we need guys to come up with questions, points of interest that's what makes for a good site.
I've seen a few forum that implode, and get nasty....finger crossed for this one to carry on as usual... ;)

Ha, Robert, you're looking in the wrong direction. Lost interest in Aussie Distiller long before I discovered this site.
