That looks remarkably like the old Still Spirits Super Reflux Still favoured by relatively few practitioners.
Kevin, have a word with a few of the guys under the Still Spirits Super Reflux Still Thread.
Look carefully before you leap on this one

Kevin, when at the page you want to link to, left click the sites address that is in the address bar, top of your browser.
The text then becomes white with a blue background. Right click and select copy from the drop down menu.

This will do the same job but slower only 1550 watt element but at £280 its a bargain.
if you want a pot sill it does it if you want reflux it does that too not the best by far but with a couple of mods from this site it will make some good stuff

I found a picture of that still:

Shortest reflux column I've ever seen.

And it still looks remarkably like the old SS super reflux model. Apart from the bigger heating element, I wonder what else is different ?

I wouldn't fancy product from a 25L/3kw still, could be real high in the 'homebrew' smell and taste.
imo best to add about £50 to the budget for building a 4kw power controller.

Re: ESSENCIA SUPER EXPRESS
Because of the the difference in taste/smell when running my airstill at 320w and 175w. It's 175w every time for me now as the weird electronic switch won't let me go any lower.
Also, my first ever pot still run when young and green had me sealing the lid to a square type burco boiler with masking tape. I didn't know about synthetics or T/stats pre internet.
I ran 5 gallons of coffee wine through it and of course the seal kept blowing. (Worm condensor in a water bucket.) Ended up with me sat next to the still listening to the noise of it heating up and me (hopefully) turning it off just before the seal blew, then back on at a certain sound of 'fizz'.
16 hours that run took and was actually a stripping run as it ran until vapour temps were 98'C. (We knew no better.) Gifted a bottle to a mate that liked choice whiskies and he kept it as a liqueur for special occasions. It really was nice.
I got to seal the lid using bits of wood, twisted rope and spanners so much quicker runs but I never got close to the quality of that run.
If anyone has a power controller, please try it on your airstill, T500 or whatever and see for yourself. For a 25L wash I'll take a 1500w dirty wash over a 3kw clean wash, though a 1500w clean wash would be hard to beat.

Re: ESSENCIA SUPER EXPRESS
John, the essencia still and the T500 is a reflux still, the air still is a pot still.
You don't control the take off rate of a reflux still with power control. I have ran my 2" VM with 2500w without any issue.
