T500 - can I stop then restart the still?

Postby tissard » Thu Dec 23, 2010 7:11 pm

As i\'m typing this my T500 is about a hour into a run. I\'ve just had a phone call and must go out in about 45mins, and there\'s no way am i leaving it unattended.
The question is, Once I\'ve stopped it, been out and attended to things, can I then return and start it up again?
If this is ok I would presume there would be no need to throw away the first 50ml again.

Doesn\'t make any difference. Once you\'ve removed the foreshots, they\'ve gone haven\'t they.
The only difference really is that nothing has changed except the amount of time it takes to get the run finished i.e. the resulting cooling and reheating time to reach running temp.....
