Simple filter
I often make "flavours" with neutral.
Might be nuked or just infusion, but filtering a bottle full always becomes a PITA.
This works well. Sits well in a funnel, reasonably quick.

I am assuming that you sit that over a filter paper lined funnel, to catch the bigger bits?

Filtering will not change the colour. It's for polishing, just getting any remaining solids from the flavouring out.
ED. Sits in the little ss funnels real nice, have a coffee paper in there above the strainer. Gives lots options, you could double pass and use it as the paper holder - probably quicker.
