A little bit of history.
I'm not sure which button I pressed, but not for the first time I found myself on this sites' pages from 2008,the "old site"
This post from Phantom had me cracking up,once again.
"It’s an offence to distil alcohol in the UK without a license. So if you do have a go, don’t try to sell it otherwise you’ll probably end up being chased by a nasty man with big teeth, carrying a large pot of vaseline, dressed in a “vizzy vest” with HMRC printed on it. Whether they’d bother about someone just making a litre or two on a hobby basis is anyone’s guess!"
Priceless,and timeless.
I just had to dredge it up and share, for anyone that hadn't seen it.
What is the Vaseline for? I assume it is for shafting the distiller?
Robert.

Re: A little bit of history.
I'll leave it up to the mind of the reader.........
But it's no different from being busy as hell in a work environment, then complaining about having to remove the splinters from yer backside once you've put the broom away
