bottle caps

Postby fatlad » Sun Nov 10, 2013 6:53 pm

Hi everyone

A stupid question I am trying to find caps for a standard spirit bottle either screw or cork caps.

Also want to find out what size they are.

Thanks

International spirits manufacturers use 2 sizes of screw caps for their bottles, They are 28mm or 31,5mm.

Try: http://www.world-of-bottles.co.uk/Stopp ... k-capsules
Always give the hardest job to the laziest person because they will always find the easiest way to do it.

See last time I looked, I could get new caps in various sizes at Brouwland for a reasonable price but the crimping tool to make them "tamper proof" was like 300 or so €'s

So I dont bother with recycled spirits bottles. Just cork fit standard 750ml bordeaux wine bottles and the plastic capped corks. Works a treat.....

Excellent. I was looking at another place the other day to see what they were charging for bottles etc, but I'm buggered if I can find the link at the moment. I'll post it if I can find it.......
