Hello - does adding the carbon to the wash affect the SG ?

Good question,if so it will be bugger all i suspect.Anyone got this?i can check when i put my ne\\xt triple on,wont be for a while now though,surely someone is able to check for you.

I understand the SG of the wash really determines the amount of unfermented sugar,so would go with NO on this one,being that the amount of unfermented sugar doesnt change and the volume of the wash changes by what 50ml?

I have a Triple distilled on at the moment. I have tried it with the liquid carbon last time and this time I have put in 100grms of dry carbon. I did this with a batch of heat wave and it worked fine and the wash was very clear. I will let you know how it goes.

when i put my last wash on i checked this, and from what i can see, its not alot, if nothing at all (to be honest i didnt notice a change)
