I got a wash using this yeast going yesterday, the first thing different I noticed was the contents of the packet were a lot less than other turbo’s however after the normal few hours it was and is bubbling its merry head off as you would expect from a turbo.
Now I realise that there is nothing out of the ordinary in this except the yeast only cost £1.79 which is about half the price of some of the others, £1.79 for a 14% 3 day wash is pretty good value.

I will post the results but I do suspect its just going to be a run of the mill fermentation, the only thing it didn’t have was the ideal start and run temperature but 6kilo of sugar in 3 days I figured it cant be that fussy so just wapt it in @ 30c which was how it ended up after topping the dissolved sugar up to 25 litre with water, well 25 litre and a bit I always go over to compensate for the ¾â€

Well as expected it finished fermenting in about 5 days, that’s because I have my heaters set at about 22C ish which might be a bit on the cool side for some, the only thing I noticed different is the sediment cleared to about a ¼â€
