You have to shop around....
I'm putting in an order for the fittings I need to build this offset VM.
When I built my pothead I ordered from JTM, no hassle... the stuff arrived within a couple of days...
Just out of curiosity I've spent 20 mins looking at other vendors..I found the local plumbers shop asking over 4 times what JTM want for a 76mm/54mm reducer...also on the Bay one guy wants £2:99 for a single 15mm/10mm.....JTM ask 20p for the same.
As I said "it pays to shop around"..

Re: You have to shop around....
Absolutely agree.
I use JTM for most things, BES for a few others. Also use IBHS, and a couple of marine, boating, recycling places for other bits.
Have not bought anything off ebay for a long time but do get things from Amazon.
Maybe we should have a refference page for recommended vendors?

I have said we need a corner somewhere that we can post a list of vendors...good ones we can trust.

JTM plumbing is an amazing place, I just wish they would adjust their delivery fee a bit if I only want a couple of pipe hangers! A flat £5 unless u go over £50 spent can make small items more costly than Amazon or eBay & I end up going elsewhere
Who am I kidding I then make excuses & spend £50 but it's killing me & there's only so much flux / solder / spare fittings I can get away with before she hits the roof
